London, June 2025 – Disruptive Doctors has officially landed in London, igniting conversations and collaborations during London Tech Week-one of the world’s leading event celebrating tech, innovation, and forward-thinking leadership.
The visit was a significant milestone for the movement, bringing together Malaysian doctors and global healthcare voices under one shared mission: to empower doctors to be agile, innovative, and tech-savvy leaders in an evolving healthcare landscape.
A key highlight was the meeting with YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, where Dr. Selina and the team discussed potential collaborations with the Ministry to ensure Malaysian doctors are better equipped to embrace digital transformation, both locally and abroad.
“As medicine evolves, our doctors must evolve with it. Through Disruptive Doctors, we’re building a global tribe of medical changemakers-doctors who think beyond the ward and lead from the front,” said Dr. Selina.
In true community-building spirit, the team hosted a networking session for Malaysian doctors working in the UK. The response was electric. Many expressed excitement about finally having a platform that connects them back to Malaysia-offering opportunities to collaborate, mentor, and drive change from wherever they are.
The momentum continued with a visit to the Royal Free Hospital London, where the Disruptive Doctors team engaged with healthcare leaders and clinicians to explore future collaborations, knowledge exchange, and cross-border initiatives.
“Meeting the Malaysian doctors here reminded us-talent is everywhere, and so is the desire to give back. Disruptive Doctors is here to bridge that gap,” said Dr. Selina.
This London visit-aligned with the spirit of innovation during London Tech Week-marked a bold step in growing Disruptive Doctors’ global footprint. From the halls of hospitals to international tech forums, one message rang clear: the future of healthcare must be doctor-led, borderless, and boldly different.
