22 March 2025, Petaling Jaya – For many doctors, the path beyond clinical practice can feel unclear or even out of reach. But at the Disruptive Doctors’ Non-Clinical Pathfinder Workshop, participants took bold first steps into a world of new possibilities—one where their medical training still makes an impact, just on a different stage.
Some attendees arrived unsure, knowing only that traditional clinical work no longer aligned with their purpose. Others came with a non-clinical career in mind, but needed inspiration, clarity, and connection. By the end of the day, they left not only with direction—but with renewed confidence and community.
This immersive workshop was specially curated to help doctors gain deeper self-awareness, explore viable non-clinical roles, and map out meaningful transitions. Through reflective activities, expert guidance, and shared stories, participants began to see just how expansive their future could be.
The session was powered by two panelists whom have taken the leap and thrived:
- Dr. Aniel Moorthy, who left clinical practice and now leads the Medical Advisory Team at an established health claims service provider.
- Dr. Nitiyanantam Perremal, who journeyed from clinician to Chief of Medical Operations, and now dedicates his time to mentoring and training
Their candid stories, practical insights, and encouragement gave participants real-world proof that transitioning from clinical to non-clinical isn’t just possible—it can be profoundly fulfilling.
Participant Dr. Ikmal shared,
